**Covid-19 Update:
This is a challenging time for everyone and Hypnobabies is focused on helping expectant families minimize anxiety while they navigate the current. For the foreseeable future, I will be following the guidance of health officials to avoid all unnecessary contact with other people. However, since many people are craving more knowledge and reassurance about their upcoming births, I will not be cancelling my live classes. Rather, Hypnobabies classes will continue using an online platform. The “live class” option will become a group class taught via Zoom. As with in-person classes, you will have 3+ hours each week of learning directly from an experienced Hypnobabies instructor. I will still be able to share my experience as member of the Triangle birth community for over 16 years, which will allow me to personalize the course and help you learn what to expect based on where you are birthing. You will also still get to interact with other pregnant families going through this experience at the same time, which is an invaluable part of the live class.
Weekly accountability to an instructor and fellow students is also an invaluable reason to take the live class. Hypnobabies involves plenty of reading and hypnosis practice, like a college class with an incredibly important final project. Birth partners are also highly involved with the live class, learning along with their partner and reading hypnosis scripts together three times per week. This allows the birthing person and their baby to relax deeply when listening to the birth partner’s voice!
Of course, under the circumstances, there are some necessary changes to the class. You’ll have to sign up for class at least a few days in advance so I can get your class materials to you in time to participate fully in the first class.
For those who cannot sign up in time, or do not think a virtual live class will best meet their needs, Hypnobabies also has a wonderful Hypnobabies Home Study option. It can be found as an online or hardcopy course here:

For families using the Home Study, I am happy to provide support via email or phone. When they complete the program, they are welcome to request a Home Study Advantage (HSA) session with me or one of the other local instructors. This would allow the instructor to answer questions and guide the family through a Birthing Rehearsal, to help them review all the material and how they will use it during their birth. HSA sessions are $150 and will be given either virtually or in person, depending on the safety guidelines in place at the time.

General Class Information
I keep classes small to allow for more individualized attention, so each class is capped at a maximum of 6 couples. So be sure to sign up early, if you see a date that interests you!

Hypnobabies® is a six-week series taught by certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructors (HCHI). Each class is 3.5 hours in length. Students receive:
- A comprehensive Hypnobabies workbook (around 200 pages)
- 17 hypnosis tracks for the Hypno-Mom
- 1 hypnosis track for the Birth Partner
- The Hypnobabies Quick Reference Guide for use during your birthing time
- The Birth Partner’s Guide Booklet

The cost of the series is $350 for group classes and $700 for private classes.
